Actually I purchased this domain www.gondacity.com some times ago and just put up a basic information page from wikipedia on it but never got time to actually make a website for it and I nearly forgot about.

A few days ago I was just checking whether the blog has got any comments and to my amazement there were 55, nearly all of them were from person either living in Gonda or somehow related with the city. Some of them also expressed their desire to buy this domain. To all of them who done this, I humbly denied as I have not purchased this domain for any commercial purpose and I just want to give my birth city Gonda and online identity and a place for all internet savvy people of Gonda to socially engage and have discussions for issue related to Gonda.

Who am I?

I am a Search Engine Marketer (SEM) by profession and live in New Delhi, the capital city of India.

I was born in a district called Gonda in Uttar Pradesh province in India. I did my schooling from Government Inter College (Fakharuddin Ali Ahmed GIC), Gonda and engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow in Computer Science & Engineering.

I started my career as trainee Java Developer in SiS Technology Solutions, Bangalore, but that doesn’t go long as my heart was somewhere else.

How my career changed?

During my early days in engineering education I came to know about search engines, their working technology and Search Engine Optimization, which is known as SEO. I started taking a keen interest in their ranking factors and their algorithm and technology and gradually I started learning all the tips and basics of Search Engine Marketing.

Today I am working as Manager in a UK based MNC and dealing with all SEM, SEO, SMO, ORM and Analytics related activities.

Apart from this I am also engaged in part time affiliate marketing, and trying to become full time online marketer.

What is this domain going to be?

I have planned to make a complete informative website about Gonda city, district and the places near by and probably include a forum exclusively for people related to Gonda where they can discuss and share their knowledge and engage in positive discussions.
